RAIL WEEK IS BACK … 5-11 October 2020 … with a digital twist!

For many in rail, been out and about is central to our roles – whether at depots, factories, stations or working on tracks and trains.

Covid-19 has restricted some of this, but we are determined not to let it restrict the reach of Rail Week!

For those not already in the know, Rail Week is our annual pan-industry, collaborative effort aimed at bridging the sector’s skills gap and inspiring the next generation of rail professionals. It gives children, young people, parents, teachers and careers advisors the opportunity to see the brilliant range of opportunities in the rail industry.

This year we’re encouraging contributors & collaborators to bring the railway to kitchens and living rooms across the UK by placing fresh emphasis on technology – virtual depot tours, webinars, downloadable activities, engineering insights, Q&As, games, educational videos …

Think virtual. Think online. Think live or pre-recorded. Think outside the box.

We’re busy collating the programme and need your help.

If you or your organisation already have plans, or want to get involved, contact our Rail Week lead Isabella Lawson by emailing railweek-enquiries@youngrailpro.com.
