Description
In 2018, the Technical Tour of the Railway Division of the IMechE will visit northern Italy and southeastern Switzerland.
The outline itinerary includes visits to railway, metro and tram workshops, a rolling stock manufacturing plant, public transport operations, a railway superstructure research centre, a tunnel construction site and a journey on a world heritage railway, as well as a visit to the museum that covers the construction of the line.
