Teams of 6 with a common language in which to work (French, German or Spanish) will have tasks during the day based on real international rail industry scenarios which will also put engineering and technology into context. Students will have the opportunity to talk with international business people, STEM ambassadors and rail industry professionals with languages. Key note speaker will be Lucy Prior MBE from RTS Solutions. The day will also include a short language taster in Japanese, given the Japanese involvement in the rail industry. There will be a prize for the best team.
