BOOKINGS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT Visitors will see our Class 350 Desiro trains close up, including sitting in a driver’s cab and taking a walk underneath a train in the maintenance pit. You can get hands on with the technology and training involved in keeping the trains safe, reliable and comfortable for the travelling public. Visitors will also find out about careers within the rail industry and opportunities to join us, while taking part in family-friendly activities throughout the day. Allow 2 hours for your complete visit. Here’s all the info you need to know to ahead of your visit on 13 October for those who have booked: • Bookings are required for this event and are now closed. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. • The depot itself is unsuitable for children under the age of 3 years old and no buggies / pushchairs can be accommodated on site due to space restrictions.
