**FINAL TICKETS AVAILABLE**
Each year, we at Siemens Mobility open one of our train maintenance sites to the public so families and rail users can get a closer look at what goes on behind the scenes. This year it’s the turn of Northam Traincare Facility in Southampton in partnership with South Western Railway, to celebrate 16 years of the Class 444 and Class 450 Siemens Desiro trains going in to service that run on routes into London Waterloo. It’s been six years since we last opened the site, and the first time since South Western Railway took over the operation of the fleet.
It’s free to attend, however prebooking is required and tickets are now available!
• Sit in a driver’s cab and take a walk underneath a train in the maintenance pit
• See some of the improvements and milestones we’ve achieved since the trains started running and together with South Western Railway, share the future plans for investment to further enhance passenger experience.
• Get your hands on with the technology and training involved in keeping the trains safe, reliable and comfortable for the travelling public
• Find out about careers within the rail industry and opportunities to join us, while taking part in family-friendly activities throughout the day.
